The Kitchen is at present closed for work to be carried out on the gas supply.
The Kitchen should reopen, fingers crossed on 17th October 2014.

The Blacks Head Inn

Situated on the B4027 right by the Green and Bus stops. In the heart of Bletchingdon or Bletchington, depending on the direction you arrive in the village.
A beautiful village pub, now being run by new tenants. Bringing back the feel of a traditional village pub. Which offers a selection of Real Ales, Lagers, Wines, Spirits, Hot and a varied selection of Cold Soft Drinks suitable for all.

Here you receive a very warm welcome fro our staff and villagers alike.
During the winter months you can expect the open Log Fire to be ablaze, warming you even further.

In a snug corner of The Blacks Head Inn, is our very comfortable room. Two leather sofas await your arrival. Chat with friends, family, colleagues in comfort while you enjoy a hot or cold drink.
In Sit back and relax and chat with friends in our sunny conservatory. Bright and Friendly, Perfect for eating Lunch or just to enjoy the Beer Garden with a Glass of Wine.
The Beer Garden
The Beer Garden a welcome spot for the many ramblers, families and dog walkers. Open All Year.
Available “Aunt Sally” A theory is that in Port Meadow in Oxfordshire, at the time of the English Civil War, the Cavaliers (soldiers loyal to King Charles I) were bored and formed a game with sticks and makeshift materials similar to the game as understood today. The object was for players to throw sticks at the head in order to break the pipe. The game bears some resemblance to a coconut shy or skittles.
